The Mortgage Project releases its 1st show, Saturday January 26, 2008 on FOX affiliates, in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg before going state-wide. 1st Show Guest is Mr. Brian Hudson, CEO and Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency.

Pittsburgh PA, January 25, 2008: Today The Mortgage Project (TMP), a new multimedia initiative endorsed by Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) announced that it will launch its first weekly show on Saturday January 26, 2008, at 6:30 AM; EDT. "The Mortgage Project" is the first initiative of its kind to combine an innovative partnership of media, government, lenders, realtors, builders and other key stakeholders in the housing market. TMP is a multimedia production and marketing firm that deliver's a wealth of information, programs and services to homeowners across media barriers. "They are clear and have researched, evaluated and assessed the failing traditional approaches of getting information out before the homeowners "American Dream", becomes a "nightmare", said Mr. Brian Hudson, CEO and Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency and the shows first guest.

"More and more homeowners are in trouble and there is a growing need for homeowners to understand the complete homeownership process. That's where The Mortgage Project comes in! Our goal is to "keep-a-roof-over" the head of current owners while educating and informing future homeowners on the language and process of homeownership", says Gene Thorpe, President of The Mortgage Project, LLC.

"The Mortgage Project" program will be televised weekly and include discussions with housing industry experts from around the country on such topics as avoiding foreclosure, predatory lending, credit restoration tips, reverse mortgages, in addition to other content to help consumers successfully own a home.

"The Mortgage Project" will also distribute homeownership content through its information rich website at www.themortgageproject.com , where consumers will find links to government housing agencies, lenders, realtors and suppliers of housing services. "Along with educating homebuyers and homeowners, we see our productions as a vehicle for financial lenders, appraisal/title companies and others in the housing industry to help educate current and future customers", said Mr. Thorpe.
